Heather Elliott

Assessment Content Specialist

Heather Elliott is an Assessment Content Specialist. She specializes in content for Grades 6-12, with a particular focus on the assessment of reading and writing. Prior to joining WIDA, she worked for three years in content development for high-stakes ESL assessments. She has also taught ESL in a variety of contexts, including in Dalian, China for two years. Heather holds an MFA in Poetry from Minnesota State University, Mankato and BA in English from University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. When not at work, she enjoys traveling, writing, and time with her family and pet corgi.
