Whatever career path you chose, you will very likely find yourself working as part of a team. Biocore 333 is offering you an opportunity to develop teamwork skills in concert with learning the scientific material covered during the semester. These evaluations are meant to assist you in acknowledging your successes during the past week as well as looking forward towards improvement during the following weeks. They also are designed to provide the faculty with feedback on the class's progress and on the lectures and course materials.
A. Teamwork Skills
Please consider the following issues and then list five things that went well this week and three things to work on improving next week.
1. Team member roles: Review the team member roles described in the course syllabus. How well did each team member perform his/her role this week?
2. Preparation: Did each team member come prepared, having studied the assigned material?
3. Group interaction: Were all team members sensitive to the feelings of others and willing to consider alternate points of view? Did all participate actively? Were you able to reach consensus on the worksheet?
