Teaching Stories
This section is devoted to stories by practitioners of collaborative learing. Included are descriptions of physical and biological science courses taught to groups varying from 20 to 350 students. Large courses are defined as courses with more than 75 students.
When possible, we've included the handouts and evaluation forms the teachers used, their insights on how well this activity worked, and any general advice on the successes and possible pitfalls of doing the activity.
Finally, it's important to hear what the learner thinks. We've also included the students' feelings on how well these activities worked for them and their thoughts on how the activity helped them learn.
