Preface

This volume contains the featured practice documents for the Forum. With just a few exceptions, there are two documents for each featured practice - one describes the program (Program Description), and the other describes the strategies for change and implementation of that program (Strategies for Change).

The Web site allows selection of programs and their respective documents by numerous criteria. In this volume, the documents are arranged alphabetically within each of three categories according to the overarching goal(s) of the program: serving students and society, serving business and industry, and serving educational infrastructure. A program may be listed more than once if it has been identified as serving more than one of the overarching goals.

The featured practices also have been organized into clusters, according to various salient themes that they represent. The appendix lists featured practices both alphabetically and by cluster.
