Advanced Career Pathways in Manufacturing

October 18, 2010

Wisconsin is among six states receiving grants from the U.S. Department of Education under the Promoting Rigorous Career and Technical Education Programs of Study (POS) Program. The grants are awarded for up to four years, with approximately $1.5 million available for the first year of the projects. As part of this program the School of Education’s Center on Education and Work (CEW) will develop and evaluate an advanced manufacturing career pathway for Wisconsin high schools, tech colleges, and universities. More information is available here.
