Examining the Relationships Between Expectations, Access, and Postsecondary Life EngagementNovember 7, 2011 Current work by Audrey Trainor will help researchers and teachers who design and implement transition education for youth with disabilities as they move from high school into adulthood. Her work involves a secondary analysis of data from the National Longitudinal Transition Study. She is reviewing NLTS2 data sets (e.g., operationalizing variables, refining research questions, etc.), implementing secondary analyses of NLTS2, and analyzing results. Findings will be dissrminated in collaboration with her colleagues based at Kansas University. Dissemination and access to web-based products will be posted to the web. Announcements regarding the availability of research products will be made to educational organizations and entities via professional and disability organizations, list serves, and professional publications.
