Network Promotes Climate Science

February 13, 2012

Sandra Rutherford and colleagues are working to advance discovery and understanding of climate science. They promote teaching, training, and learning through a partnership of educators, climate scientists and learning scientists.  With funding from the National Science Foundation, Rutherford and colleagues have formed a network of institutions and individuals engaged in climate science research, climate literacy research, and climate education activities in the Great Lakes region. This collaboration aims to guide future practices in education and to inform the broader impacts of climate scientists and learning scientists regionally and nationally.
