CIRTL Diversity Institute Launched
CIRTL Diversity Institute Launched

The Center for the Integration of Research, Teaching, and Learning (CIRTL) has launched the Diversity Institute. The Diversity Institute brings together scholars to produce materials and resources that aim to reform science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) higher education. The Institute grows from the idea that students' learning is enhanced when classes, laboratories, and discussion sections foster engagement of all students irrespective of race, gender, or socioeconomic background. The Diversity Institute creates and disseminates resources that will enable faculty and future faculty to enhance diversity in STEM fields by creating inclusive classrooms.
