CIRTL Offers 8 Course GuidebooksSeptember 11, 2007 The CIRTL Guidebook Collection features eight versatile course guidebooks that result from the work of a community of research-active faculty, graduate students, post-doctoral researchers, and academic staff in the STEM disciplines (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics). The guidebooks are intended as a resource for anyone involved in preparing future STEM faculty. Instructors can follow them in detail or can tailor the materials to fit their classroom needs, drawing from course syllabi, recommended readings, and evaluation tools. A faculty member can relatively quickly prepare to teach a course or program for graduate students or postdocs interested in becoming a professor. The guidebooks were developed as part of the Delta Program in Research, Teaching and Learning at UW-Madison. Delta is the laboratory for developing and testing many of CIRTL’s teaching and learning experiments. More information is available here.
