WCER Projects Extend Reach

WCER’s Center for the Integration of Research, Teaching and Learning (CIRTL) has received a new three-year, $5.1 million grant from the National Science Foundation to expand its campus science education program to five other major research universities -- Michigan State, Howard, Texas A&M, University of Colorado at Boulder, and Vanderbilt. WCER’s VARC project is a partner in the Center for Educator Compensation Reform (CECR), which works to raise national awareness of alternative and effective strategies for educator compensation reform. CECR provides information, tools, and resources to support Teacher Incentive Fund (TIF) grantees, policymakers, state officials, and district professionals with the design and implementation of educator compensation reform policies and programs.
