Gamoran to Serve as Interim Dean; Graue as Interim Director

December 12, 2008

Beginning in January, WCER director Adam Gamoran will serve as interim Dean of the School of Education while current dean Julie Underwood serves as interim university Provost. Beth Graue, professor of curriculum and instruction and WCER’s director of graduate training, will serve as interim director of WCER. Dean Underwood is serving as interim Provost as a search committee works to find a replacement for the outgoing provost. Gamoran will work with Underwood to continue advancing the school’s current priorities, including reorganization of the school's outreach, partnerships and technology services, the renovation and addition of the Education Building on Bascom Hill, and planning for a new Art Building.
