Small Learning Communities
The Smaller Learning Communities Program supports the planning, implementation, and expansion of small, safe, and successful learning environments in large public high schools. The program aims to help ensure that all students graduate with the knowledge and skills necessary to make successful transitions to college and careers. WCER's Comprehensive Center-Region VI provides technical assistance to school sites participating in the Smaller Learning Communities Program, which is funded by the U.S. Department of Education and Northwest Regional Educational Laboratory.
