WCER's Interdisciplinary Work

July 14, 2008

One of WCER’s strengths is the interdisciplinary nature of its work. While most researchers make their academic home in the School of Education, one-third come from other fields, including astronomy, business, chemistry, economics, engineering, human ecology, law, mathematics, sociology, and social work. Each discipline brings its own way of learning and thinking. Together they focus on problems of learning, teaching, assessment, and policy in today’s education systems.
