John Keltz
  Assistant Researcher


John works on value-added projects as an associate researcher at VARC. He is currently the project lead for the value-added projects with Tulsa Public Schools and Atlanta Public Schools. Past work has included building value added models for outcomes other than state tests, including benchmark exams and attendance. 

John began working at VARC after he received a master's degree in economics from the University of Wisconsin in 2008. He studied public and labor economics at Wisconsin and received an IES fellowship for education research. John also worked as a research assistant at VARC during graduate school studying supplemental education services in Milwaukee and the READ 180 program.
