- Conceptualize, design, implement, evaluate and disseminate results of research, organizational change strategies, professional development, program development, technical assistance, and program evaluation.
Current Projects
External Evaluation of the CESA 5 (New Lisbon) Project Entitled STEM Connects: Enhancing Teacher Quality and Student Proficiency, 09/01/2010-08/31/2013. Stem Connects' overall goals include providing teachers with professional development in evidence-based practices, improving student achievement in mathematics and science, developing STEM curricula, and building collaborative relationships among teachers, higher education, and business partners.
External Evaluation of the Beaver Dam Unified School District Project Immersion Into Inquiry (I3), 11/01/2010-08/31/2013. The project's overall goals include implementation of the Understanding by Design framework, integrating an inquiry-based approach into science instruction, embedding literacy in science, and using lesson study as a systematic approach to improve teaching and build knowledge.
External Evaluation of the CESA 11 Project Entitled Coaching Mathematics Learning Community, 03/01/2011-08/31/2013. The project's overall goals include establishing a Professional learning Community that supports teachers' collaborative and interdependent practice using an identified coaching program; sustaining teachers' on-going professional collaboration that leads to instructional change and teachers' growth; increasing teachers' content knowledge for teaching math in grades 3-10; and improving student achievement in math.

External Evaluation of the Advanced Placement Incentive Project Entitled Blended Learning Innovations: Building A Pipeline for Equity and Access, 10/01/08-09/30/12. The API-BLI project goals are to increase the enrollment, retention, and success of low-income, at-risk, and minority students in AP classes; and expand the number of AP offerings in schools with high proportions of low-income students, and schools in need of improvement.
External Evaluation of the Life During Wartime Project, 07/01/08-06/30/11. The overall project goal is to provide professional development to teachers of history that increases their skills in using primary sources to teach American history and subsequently improve the performance of their students on measures of knowledge of American history.
External Evaluation of the Creating Mathematics Excellence (CME) Project, 07/01/09-08/31/10. The CME project goal was to improve mathematics achievement of students in grades 3-9 by improving the mathematics content knowledge and teaching skills of educators instructing those students.
