Andrew Rice
  Researcher

Andrew Rice is a researcher at the Value-Added Research Center. Currently he is the lead for the Los Angeles Unified School District AGT project. Dr. Rice also works with state agencies (Wisconsin and North Dakota), reform groups (The New Teacher Project, The New Teacher Center, Teach Plus, CORE), school districts (New York City, Hillsborough County, Austin) and the national AFT. In addition, he works on general technical development for the center. He received his Ph.D. in economics from the Pennsylvania State University in 2010 with a focus on applied econometrics.
