Drew Anderson
  Research Assistant


Drew studies applied microeconomics, focusing on public policy, education, and poverty. His recent work addresses public and private funding of education, how families pay for college, competition in higher education, and financial literacy.

Drew grew up in Colorado, then attended Augustana College in South Dakota, where he earned his B.A. in mathematics and economics. He worked for two years as a software engineer before coming to Wisconsin to study economics. He expects to graduate with his Ph.D. in summer 2014.
