Tinker Plots: Tools and Curricula for Enhancing Data Analysis in the Middle School

Tinker Plots, unlike any existing data analysis tool, will allow students to create their own graphs and plots "from the ground up." By offering students a construction set rather than a menu of ready-made graph types, the curriculum developers can better orient students and teachers to the inquiry-driven nature of data analysis.
