Study of Pilot Performance Evaluation in Cincinnati Public Schools

CPRE staff are continuing a formative evaluation of the new teacher evaluation system in the Cincinnati Public Schools.

Research questions include: (1) How well was the new process implemented? (2) Did the changes made as a result of a field test reduce the problems they were intended to? (3) Do teachers understand and accept the new system and perceive it as fair? and (4) Did evaluators perceive that the conditions needed to do accurate and useful evaluations were present?
