National Center for Improving Student Learning and Achievement in Mathematics and Science--Design Collaborative--Elementary

With several teacher-partners, the Verona, Wis., Elementary Design Collaborative conducts in-depth classroom studies, researching the development of students’ model-based reasoning in mathematics and science. Emphasizing teachers' professional development, the researchers also work with teachers to design instructional approaches that foster student learning of mathematics and science.
