Using DIF Analyses to Examine the Effects of Testing Accommodations on Students' Responses to Test Items

This research aims to advance understanding of the effects and consequences of testing accommodations on individual test items for students with disabilities. Elliott, Kratochwill, and Bolt are investigating the effects of testing accommodations on students' performance on alternate forms of mathematics test items and reading test items typically used in statewide assessment programs.
