Harvesting Funds for the Center for Education Compensation Reform

This project is designed to harvest what has been learned about designing and implementing incentive or performance pay programs for educators by technical assistance staff of the Center for Educator Compensation Reform in their work supporting grantees of the U.S. Department of Education’s Teacher Incentive Fund.

The project uses a variety of qualitative methods to identify issues related to initial program design, communication, and implementation; summarize the responses grantees have developed to address these issues in partnership with technical assistance providers; and assess the effectiveness of these responses.

This work is being carried out in cooperation with Vanderbilt University and Westat.
