This project is conducting content analyses of state documents related to mathematics and science education standards and selected assessment instruments used by four states to promote education accountability. The purpose is to provide descriptions of the instructional content embedded in state standards and assessments using procedures that permit quantitative analyses into the degree of alignment found between standards and assessments.
