Tulsa Public Schools Value-Added Project

For the Tulsa Public Schools, VARC is producing value-added estimates for several subjects and grade levels, including estimates for math and reading for Grades 4-8, estimates for social studies and writing for Grades 5 and 8, and estimates for geography for Grade 7. VARC is also producing value-added estimates using end-of-course exams for high schools. VARC will calculate value added for both the teacher and the school level and will calculate differential effects by prior achievement level.
