The PHAGE Galaxy: A Consortium for Phage Hunting and Genomics Education for Undergraduates

CUNY Professor John Dennehy’s research is focused on how viruses infect new host types and spread pandemically. At the center of his research is the question: Are there ways to predict which viruses are more likely than others to pose a global health threat?

Pribbenow provides support for this project (collecting and analyzing data, helping organize a network of institutions to continue infrastructure development, supporting undergraduate students in original research, and disseminating best practices in undergraduate research, student assessment, and outcomes.
