Strengthening Community CollegesJanuary 30, 2012 Sara Goldrick-Rab has been appointed to The Century Foundation’s Task Force on Preventing Community Colleges from Becoming Separate and Unequal. The group will address and the growing economic and racial divide between two- and four-year colleges. Two-year institutions historically have educated a broad cross-section of students, but recent enrollment trends may be weakening their political and social capital.
