Analyzing ELL Student AchievementFebruary 12, 2008 WCER and the Council of Chief State School Officers are collaborating to improve methods of analyzing the alignment of instruction to assessments and standards for English Language Learners, and analyzing how this alignment corresponds to student achievement. Studies by the Surveys of Enacted Curriculum team will provide insight into teachers’ reports of instructional content, their practice, professional development experiences, and their readiness for equitable and innovative practices. WCER staff are working with Ohio and project partners to support teacher and school improvement. In particular they are developing ways to incorporate SEC data into Ohio’s D3A2 data sharing initiative.
