Evaluation of Assessing Student Learning and Evaluating Faculty Change Processes in NSF-Funded Workshops on Inquiry-Based Learning in SMET Disciplines: A Model for Future CCLI Investigators

This project (2002-2006) is undertaking longitudinal research to track the effectiveness of a faculty change effort consisting primarily of inquiry-based environmental problem solving summer workshops. WCER project staff are partnering with Richard Iuli of the University of Rochester, who is using concept maps to assess student understanding in the faculty participants' courses.
