EAGER: A PI Toolbox to Build Capacity for Undergraduate Research

This work will contribute to knowledge about how to design effective programs that broaden participation in STEM research.

Branchaw and colleagues are building a web-based survey and assessment tool to support and coordinate the collection of student learning assessment and program evaluation data across NSF’s Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) programs.

The tool will generate a dataset that can be used in novel, interdisciplinary research to investigate how REU programs work, in what contexts, and for which students. Education researchers will be able to use these data to research these issues.
