Amy Johns Fisher

Amy E. Fisher focuses her scholarship on educational equity, inclusion, and justice for marginalized students at the intersection of race and ability. Specifically within (a) policies and practices that operate as barriers to equitable access to education; and (b) educator and student racial identity development as a mechanism for education justice. Her practitioner background as a school psychologist and therapist allow her to bridge policy, research, and practice.
