Jeffrey Meyer

Administrative Assistant III

Jeffrey Meyer holds master’s degrees in library science and archaeology and serves as a research and data assistant for the University of Wisconsin-Madison. His research specializes in rural demographics and government data sources. He is in his fourth year with Vocational Rehabilitation Technical Assistance Center for Quality Employment (VRTAQ-QE). His prior background in public service involved outreach to rural communities in Iowa. He has published peer-reviewed papers in Rehabilitation Counselors and Educators JournalPublic Library Quarterly, Reference Librarian, and the Pennsylvania Magazine of History and Biography. He recently contributed a book chapter on global literacy to The Routledge Handbook of Poverty in the Global South. His trade magazine work has appeared in Computers in Libraries, Library Journal, American Libraries, and others.
