It is increasingly common for researchers and practitioners to partner in education to apply scientific research methods to problems of educational practice. However, these arrangements are often informal or contingent on decisions made beyond either partner’s control. What happens when practice partners undergo significant organizational change, as often happens with a leadership transition?
